This Halloween, we collaborated with Dane Austin Designs and Heidi Quigley of Northwestern Mutual for a very special Fall installment of Social By Cheri! Compass recently expanded to the second floor of their regional headquarters at 126 Newbury Street and served as the setting for the event.
Guests were treated to the sounds of DJ Valentina and kept the dance floor popping! Food arranged by FinPoint restaurant in the Waterfront district, Gooseneck Wine was sponsored by New England Title, Mixology crafted by Alejandro Alvarez, owner of The Event Society. Tarot cards were read by Keli Stander who surprised and entertained the guests.
SBC Returns to Tradesman
Hosted with Heidi Quigley from Northwestern Mutual we noshed on pizza, charcuterie, and of course the famous Tradesman croissants. Everyone was happy to welcome Spring and to celebrate the guests’ upcoming milestones: purchasing investment property, upcoming nuptials, and fabulous vacations.
We bid farewell to Mandy and Gareth as they embark on a travel adventure that has them circling the globe early next year!
Social by Cheri Takes Over Tradesman
This past March, we took over Tradesman in the Financial district for a roaring 20’s themed evening. Filled with Moscow mules, charcuterie, and flatbread pizzas, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and all of the tasty treats.
We raffled off a gift basket filled with local CBD products to a lucky participant - Lauren Skilton.
We All Got Lei’d at Tiki Rock!
November had us missing the sunshine so we did the next best thing and celebrated Hawaiian style at Tiki Rock in the Financial District. Guests were treated to a very special edition of Bingo where Kiwi was the board highlight! Special thanks to our generous sponsors Heidi Quigley from Northwestern Mutual and Dave Murray from Cross Country Mortgage.
Our big winners were Tweedy and Gina who walked away with not only bragging rights as Bingo champs but also gift cards to Tiki Rock!

Social by Cheri takes over the Penthouse above Yvonne’s
This edition of SbC takes us to the historic building that housed Locke-Ober.
The night was full of the sounds from Peter O’Karma from Meritage Entertainment as guests mingled with signature cocktails and light bites from FinPoint Restaurant.
The theme was a Winter Place White Party as guests dressed to impress and enjoy the private roof top deck on the perfect summer evening.
When guests weren’t outside they were inside the spacious condo with art represented from the Gold Gallery, the Gallery Event, and A R E A Gallery.
A special appearance was made by lady dame herself Kris Knieval.
Social by Cheri at Park Plaza Hotel
Our latest Social by Cheri event was held in the cozy fireplace room at the newly-remodeled Park Plaza Hotel. Guests were treated to passed hors d'oeuvres and delights such as beet lollipops. As the evening got underway we had a quiz master from Geeks who Drink test our knowledge in the hopes of winning fun prizes. Aleen from Martignetti was our wine sommelier and she guided us through the selection of Pinot Grigio, bubbles, and French burgundy.

Our Winter Place Social by Cheri event was held at One Winter Place, one of Boston's most coveted boutique residences. The luxury penthouse, which is currently on the market, was the ideal haven for a bit of weekend celebration. With a wealth of living and entertaining space, this home delivers the remarkable charm and character that makes Boston's Midtown neighborhood famous.

Our previous Social by Cheri event was held at Tesla in Boston's Prudential Center. We partnered with Akris and The Event Society, as well as sponsors Ligris & Associates, Samuel Adams, Belvedere Vodka and Guaranteed Rate, to host an exciting evening full of fast cars and fashion!
Social by Cheri at Bushari Real Estate
We changed things up a bit and hosted the next Social by Cheri in Bushari’s newly redesigned office space above Copley Square. We brought in a wine expert, Ally Burkett of the Social Vine, to treat our guests to small vintage wines and small barrel fine soothes. The tastings were paired with cheese and charcuterie from Eataly- making for a delicious compliment!

To kick off our inaugural Social by Cheri event, we networked in style at the new restaurant FinPont Boston. Guests dined on oysters, flatbreads, arancini, tuna tarter, kobe beef sliders to name a few!
Drinks were also on the house thanks to a special drink ticket provided by Kiwi.
